What are your thoughts about this? Do you feel that your mindset about intelligence could affect your intelligence?

the way the article describes these two mindsets….aren’t they disregarding that people with lower self-esteem are more likely to be pushed into a fixed mindset?? the interview they had with the 7th grade girl…..she said she wasnt afraid of raising her hand even when she didn’t know the right answer. isn’t that based more on the fact that she had the confidence to do so when a less self-assured child could not, even if they wanted to know if their answer was right?
