THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE, WHO ACTUALLY ELECT THE PRESIDENT, DO NOT BEGIN TO VOTE UNTIL NOVEMBER 29TH

EVEN IF THE EXIT POLLS ARE ACCURATE, THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE IS NOT REQUIRED TO FOLLOW THE POPULAR VOTE

THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE EXISTS AS OUR NATION’S SAFEGUARD AGAINST DYSFUNCTIONAL POPULIST MOVEMENTS DISRUPTING THE BALANCE OF POWER

That is on one hand reassuring and on the other hand makes my panic attack extend for another 21 days
